The care and education of developing pre-school / pre-k / kindergarten children is a common goal between Patti-Cake Day Care Center and our children‛s parents. This forms the bridge between the home and school/center, so involvement and cooperation of all concerned in this program is greatly emphasized.

The program of Patti-Cake is to foster the needs of your child‛s growth and development, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically by projecting several different types of curriculum models and applying the best motivating aspect of each of them to achieve a specific goal.
Teachers are all state certified/college graduates and experienced professionals in the field of early childhood education. Continuously throughout the year, staff attend courses/training, and staff meetings to keep our program in high standards. All staff are trained in CPR and first aid for infants and children. Staff enjoy both warm, meaningful relationships with our children, while skillfully enhancing children‛s learning.
Parents and families are welcomed. There is daily contact, and if needed, conferencing with parents. During enrollment, parents are given a "Parent Involvement Survey" which includes chaperones, story-telling, creative arts, hospitality, languages, etc. Annual parent satisfaction surveys are requested. Bi-annual parent meetings are held where a thorough evaluation on each child is reviewed and comments noted. Movies/videos of various daily activities, seasonal parties and field trips are shown at the bi-annual PTA meetings.
